"PRE-EXISTING CONDITION" (a Type 1 Diabetes Benefit) at M Modern Gallery- Palm Springs

Please join us at m modern Saturday, August 15, 2009 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm as we open the group art exhibition "PRE-EXISTING CONDITION" (a Type 1 Diabetes Benefit).
This show was organized by Zoey Stevens (m modern artist) and Dereck Cruz (of Type One Clothing) as a way to increase awareness about the disease and raise money to fund research for a cure of Type 1 Diabetes. The majority of proceeds from this exciting themed exhibition will be gifted to the Juvenile
Diabetes Research Foundation .

The many artists participating in this exhibition share a connection to diabetes either by having the disease themselves or knowing a friend or relative with diabetes. The artwork featured in this show has been created specifically for the event and in most cases express the artist's perspective regarding the disease.
